Pulling my Hair out!

So I have decided to try to get Baby J on a schedule of sorts! I am absolutely going crazy!
According to this book (a very good book) I have been doing EVERYTHING wrong! At this very moment I have been listening to her scream for approx. 45 min. She is not used to being on a schedule and is not capable of settling herself down for a nap. They say this will get better and it will be better for the baby in the long run! Hopefully it does soon! I am at my witts end!

Schedules are really good for kids but also hard to keep. I am sure that you are doing a great job!!! Sometimes you do have to let them cry & it is so hard but I have found that it usually is better in the end but it seems like forever while you are suffering though it! Good luck! Don't forget that books don't know everything & never let them make you feel guilty because you are the mama!
Love ya

Isn't that the worse feeling listening to them cry. I had to do that with Saibra the other night and it tore my heart out! But, it really does pay off in the end I promise! I didn't ever follow a book but I did keep Nyah on a schedule and I try to do the same with Saibra. Good luck!!

Rikki because i love you I'm going to give you my very very honest opinion, take it or leave. You cannot get everything from a book- even super fab ones. Also she is very little still. How old is she? 3 months? Idk if I would let her cry too long. Also, you are her mom and if you think its not too long, you're right. Mom's usually are. Well, sometimes. :) ha ha Of course not always, but you've got good instincts, use em'. Also, schedules are fab, just hard with tiny ones.

oh Rikki, I totally understand. Brandon and I have been trying the Babywise schedule since Tori was born, and I actually think we're regressing, haha! But there's a lot to be said for setting a schedule. Good luck!!
